Women from the South Bay and beyond are invited to LIVE! LAUGH! LEARN! at the inaugural South Bay Women’s Conference on Friday, May 9.

Organized by the South Bay Business Women’s Association, this full day event will welcome purpose-driven and service-minded women into a motivational environment of empowerment, respect, laughter and learning, while simultaneously providing college scholarships to South Bay women in need.

Attendees will experience inspiring and educational speakers in both General Session and interactive break-out programs.

Meet past scholarship recipients, network during a three-course locally sourced lunch menu and visit specialty boutique vendors.

The day will culminate with a high energy networking reception, ensuring many lasting connections.

The South Bay Conference for Women will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Torrance Marriott South Bay.

Tickets will be sold on-site and at the four pre-conference mixers beginning January 28 at Abigaile Restaurant & Ocean Bar Lounge, Hermosa Beach (5:30-7:30pm).

Sponsorship opportunities are welcome, along with a limited number of requests to purchase vendor space ($300; or $75 for non-profit organizations).

All proceeds seed the SBBWA scholarship fund, with a goal of raising $7000.

South Bay Business Women’s Association (SBBWA.com) is a local non-profit organization comprised of businesswomen who share a desire to give back to our community. The group’s main focus is to raise money for the purpose of awarding education scholarships to deserving women returning to college or university in pursuit of their degrees and the betterment of their lives.
