Live from the Grammys: Lorde wins Grammy for Song of the Year

Just moments ago, the Grammy Award for Song of the Year was presented to Lorde for her breakthrough hit "Royals" at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.

Also nominated for Song of the Year category were "Just Give Me A Reason" by Pink (featuring Nate Ruess), the pop ballad "Locked Out of Heaven" by Bruno Mars, " Katy Perry's "Roar," and the LGBT anthem "Same Love," from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis featuring Mary Lambert.

The presentation of her award was followed with a performance of "Same Love," with guests including Madonna. During the song, Queen Latifa's voice was heard officiating a wedding of gay couples onstage.

The 56th Grammy Awards are taking place at Staples Center in Los Angeles, and are sponsored by the Recording Academy.
