The 55th Annual Grammy Awards are in full swing tonight live from The Staples Center in Los Angeles. The show is being hosted by LL Cool J.
The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach, Fun., Jay-Z, Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean, and Kanye West top the nominations with six each; the Black Keys, Chick Corea and Miguel each garner five nods; and producer Jeff Bhasker, mastering engineer Bob Ludwig and Nas are each up for four awards.
Gotye just won the award for Record Of The Year.
Gotye was on hand to accept the award along with Kimbra who is featured on the song. They each thanked every one involved with making the song a hit.
Earlier backstage Gotye spoke with the press and stated that it took him about 6 months to find the right person to sing on the song with him.
Kimbra mentioned backstage that she was a fan of Gotye before he contacted her to join him on the song.
