Just moments ago, Frank Ocean won the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album for his Channel Orange release at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.

With stiff competition from rivals Chris Brown with Fortune, and Miguel's Kaleidoscope Dream, the announcement, which was delivered by Kelly Rowland and Nas, resulted in massive applause from both the audience and those backstage.

The New Orleans born singer songwriter was among the artists that attended the Annual Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Party last night.

For the first time ever, the Pre-Telecast Ceremony for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards was streamed live worldwide at Grammy.com/live and online at CBS.com.

Historically, this will mark the first time that the the Pre-Telecast Ceremony was held at Nokia Theater.

The televised portion of the music industry's “Biggest Night of the Year” will take place live on Sunday, Feb. 10, at Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will be broadcast in high-definition TV and 5.1surround sound on the CBS Television Network from 8:00 to 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
