'LittleBigPlanet 3' could be showcased on the PS4 at upcoming PlayStation event (Photos)

As brought to our attention by a post on the popular video game forum NeoGAF yesterday, the studio that brought us the creative “LittleBigPlanet” franchise, Media Molecule, is teasing an unannounced title on their official website, which is rumored to be a title for the PS4. Navigating through their website to the games tab, viewers can find a list of titles that include “Tearaway,” “LittleBigPlanet,” LittleBigPlanet 2,” and “Rag Doll Kung Fu.” In addition to these four titles, Media Molecule has listed a question mark in place of an unannounced title.

Clicking on this question mark brings us to a music video entitled “Toyah – It's A Mystery.” It is inferred that this music video does not have anything to do with their next project, as they are only using this to tease fans. Interestingly, NeoGAF has found that the source code for this webpage brings attention to the date of Feb. 17, 2013. With this date being so close to the PlayStation event that is expected to bring the announcement of the PS4, this may very well lead to this title being released for Sony's next-generation console.

If Sony plans to reveal the PS4 at the PlayStation event on Feb. 20, Media Molecule could be one of the developers that shows off the first glimpse of games for this system. With the success of the “LittleBigPlanet” franchise, this very well could mean the announcement of “LittleBigPlanet 3” for the PS4.

For those of you that may be interested, we have listed a few concept photos of the PS4 in the slideshow above this article.
