Little Rock Farmers' Market to open for another year

The Little Rock Farmers' Market will be open again this year in the River Market area along the Arkansas River. The market is set to be on its location at Riverfront Park on Clinton Avenue and will open on April 30th and run until October 26th every Tuesday and Saturday from 7 a.m. till 3 p.m.

The Little Rock Farmers' Market was opened in 1974 and has been going strong ever since. The market offers local produce and handmade crafts and arts from local vendors from across the state of Arkansas.

Farmers' markets nationwide will be opening their doors this season, along with the Little Rock Market to consumers wanting to shop local within their own area and most markets offer fresh produce that's been grown locally. Jewel crafting and other handmade goods have also graced the atmosphere at most farmers' markets as well. Some farmers' markets even offer petting zoos to showcase the animal in which the goods came from, such as 'goats milk' and 'lambs wool.
