Little River Band in concert at Newport Syndicate on January 18

As part of the Newport Syndicate Concert Series, presented by Kerry Toyota, Little River Band will be in concert on Saturday, January 18 at 7:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m.

Audiences can expect to hear some of Little River Band’s greatest hits, which charted in the mid-1970’s and 1980’s, including “Cool Change,” “Lady,” “Lonesome Loser,” “Reminiscing,” “Happy Anniversary,” “Take It Easy on Me,” among many more.

Audiences of all ages can expect to enjoy a collection of hits that the current line-up will perform. Originally, LRB was formed in Melbourne, Australia in the early 1970’s. Now, the band’s worldwide album sales top more than 30 million. The band also set a record for having Top 10 hits for 6 consecutive years and LRB is considered to be the first band to achieve that success. Among their many achievements and accolades, LRB was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame at the 18th Annual ARIA Music Awards in 2004.

In 2013, the band released its latest studio album, Cuts Like a Diamond with songs like “You Dream I’ll Drive,” “Someone,” “Way Too Good” and “Love Is” from Frontiers Records/Universal. For the latest news and tour dates, visit
