Introducing your children to the arts can sometimes be expensive. Tickets to see ballet performances or operas can be pricey and let's face it...they may not be able to sit for the length of the show. So why not find a way that's inexpensive and more fitting?
The Grand Rapids Symphony and the Grand Rapids Ballet comes together to offer you such a way. They will be performing together in the Grand Rapids Lollipops production of Little Red Riding Hood this weekend. Tickets are only $5 each! This is a huge difference in cost compared to a regular ballet. The performance will be at Sunshine Community Church and only lasts 45 minutes long. That's just enough time to enjoy the show without getting too wiggly. Seating is general admission so it's first come first serve. That means you'll want to get there early. They have two shows that you can attend. The first is January 21 at 10:15 am and the second is the same day at 11:30 am.
To get your tickets you can order them online but you will be charged $6.75 instead of the regular ticket price. There is a handling fee for online services. It may be better to go to a Ticketmaster booth. There are plenty of locations around town.
You've got to love that Grand Rapids is always offering something fun and inexpensive to do on a regular basis.
