"Little People, Big World" stars Matt and Amy Roloff have announced their split. On March 12, TMZ reported that the reality television stars have decided to end their marriage after 26 years. While the couple has decided that they can't live together -- at least not right now -- they may not end up getting divorced.
"Matt and Amy have been living separately since the holidays. Amy currently resides in the family's main house in Oregon. Matt lives in the guest house. Neither Amy nor Matt is currently pursuing other relationships -- they're just testing the waters living alone ... for now anyway," reports TMZ.
The "Little People, Big World" stars didn't give any particular reason for their decision to separate -- but not unlike other people, they probably just grew apart. Matt and Amy Roloff along with their four children have touched the lives of millions of people. Their story was one of a kind (and really the first of its nature) and people really took to them right away. Many are sad to hear that the Roloff's aren't working out -- and it is pretty surprising... but who knows? Maybe they will end up working things out.
"Though we have weathered many storms together, we recently made the tough decision to engage in a trial separation," the couple said in a joint statement (via TMZ).
"Little People, Big World" first aired on TLC in 2006. A new episode of the show will air on March 25 and the Roloffs will likely explain their separation a bit more. See the video above for a preview.
