Friday, the 2010 Little League World Series (LLWS) started in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and the LLWS games continue through Sunday, August 29. The games consist of eight international and eight US teams. Each team gets to play at least three times at the games.
Opening ceremonies for the 2010 LLWS games started at 11 am in South Williamsport. Four games took place on opening day.

Southwest - Pearland, Texas 10

8 pm
Japan - Tokyo, Japan 4
Mexico - Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas 2
