Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett are performing Saturday night with the New Orleans Suspects, May 17, 2014 at The Hamilton in Washington, D.C. Doors open at 7 PM and the show is scheduled to start at 8:30 PM! The show promises to mix Little Feat chestnuts along with classics from the Crescent City and I am sure there will be a surprise or two!
Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett the guitarists for Little Feat have been touring as an acoustic duo as a side project in between Little Feat tours. This time around they have enlisted the services of the New Orleans Suspect a group of top notch musicians from the Big Easy. The Suspects include Mean Willie Greene on drums from The Neville Brothers, the guitarist for The Dirty Dozen Brass Band Jake Eckert, the saxophonist from the James Brown Band Jeff Watkins, The Radiators bass player Reggie Scanlan and the band is rounded out by piano/organist C.R. Gruver who has played in Leo Nocentelli's band.
