Little Enzo is a real Cuddle Bug

The following article is part of an ongoing effort to help homeless dogs in and around the Toronto/Hamilton area find suitable and loving homes. Currently, the need is great but the homes are few. Your help is desperately needed.

Tiny Paws Dog Rescue Canada (TPDRC) located in Toronto, Ontario would like to introduce Enzo, a Chihuahua/Pekingese mix.

Enzo is 1 year old and weighs just 9 lbs. He is a happy-go-lucky little fellow and very cuddly. Most of the time, he is quite calm but will bark when he meets new people or when someone comes to the door. According to his foster mom, a spray bottle of water is being used to deter him from barking.

This fun little dog enjoys the company of other dogs and cats, and loves to play with them. However, he can be a little timid at first. He is also a cuddle bug and loves to spend time curled up with a human companion.

Enzo’s foster mom is also working on his house training but he’s a smart dog so with patience and consistency, it should not take long. He is spayed, up-to-date on his routine shots and micro-chipped. It is suggested that he go to a home without small children.

Tiny Paws Dog Rescue (TPDRC) is a charitable organization, comprised of volunteers who work to fill a much-needed niche in the rescue community to save and re-home small (under 20 lbs.), mixed breed dogs and purebred dogs.

TPDRC works with shelters, pounds, other rescues, and private individuals to save dogs who might otherwise be euthanized and to place those dogs into our private foster homes, give standard veterinary care and other needed medical treatment, work on training issues and find them carefully screened forever homes. TPDRC also stresses the importance of educating the public about the necessity to spay/neuter, the deplorable conditions of puppy mill and pet store dogs, and the need to adequately care for and train the family pet.
