Remember the days when you sat down and had family supper?
Little Dom's, little brother to West Hollywood's venerable Dominick's, serves a different Monday Night Supper each week for only $15! If that wasn't enough - there are $15 bottles of wine as well as $3 PBR. These deals, coupled with the fact that Little Dom's looks like it was just transplanted from the Planet Hipster, makes for one busy little restaurant.
This week the menu was:
- Grilled peaches, pickled haricots verts, gem lettuce
- Linguine with Parmesan broda, corn, and crispy leeks
- Meringue, ice cream, berries, Chantilly cream
Next week's menu (Monday, July 28th):
- Grilled summer vegetables
- Wood oven roasted Vadouvan spiced chicken and couscous
- Polenta shortcake with strawberries
If you don't feel like the menu options for Monday Night Supper, don't fret. Little Dom's has classic Italian fare that won't disappoint. Suggested choices: a pizza (with any of their delicious toppings), baked ziti, linguine, and - who doesn't like a meatball sandwich? If these sound good, make a reservation (just maybe not for Monday night unless you want the Supper Menu.)
Even though you'd be crazy not to order a $15 bottle of wine (or $3 PBR for that matter), there is a full bar to get you however buzzed you'd like.
Where's the best place to sit? Well, that depends on what you want out of the evening. There's two outdoor seating areas - one that faces Hillhurst and the other faces Avocado. These are both good options for this wonderful summer weather (keep in mind that the tables on the Avocado side are all next to each other so there is the potential for eavesdropping.) If you want to sit indoors - go for the large dining room versus anything around the bar (too noisy) or, better yet, have a private dinner with just you and your friends in the far-back small room.
