I came across this wine in Target, I passed it and literally walked backwards to check it out. I was first drawn because it was a budget wine, but then I wondered if they were targeting an hispanic audience. It turns out that these are boutique latin wines, more than just spanish or south america. The best of both worlds! Loved the idea! The Malbec I like because it's very fruity and has beautiful dark fruits, cherries and cassis. It is very juicy, a very nice acidity and just a bit of tannins but not too much with a delicious finish. I like these wines to complement my dinner parties with my girlfriends! They are also great for gifts. Or housewarming parties! You can check them out online here www.littlechicawines.com
They have a tasty Little Chica Tempranillo/Grenache blend. I don't know about you but I am big tempranillo fan anyway, I like a dry red that is simple and to the point. This wine actually packs a punch! Thanks to its blend of Garnacha. a Spanish variental wine from Castilla La Mancha.

It has deep burgundy color and I liked the luscious cherry and chocolate flavors. I also like my reds to be on the juicy side instead of a tannin bomb in your mouth, which this is NOT. It has just enough tannin in it to leave you with a nice dry finish.
It is an excellent wine for summer BBQs and grilling, or just to share with friends. On their website you can even find some easy recipes from guacamole to Paellla at LittleChicaWines.com, the best part is they are both under $10...Disfrute and Salud!!
