Little Butte available one day for adoption from high kill California shelter

Little Butte, or Kobe, as some call this friendly tan and white pit bull terrier, is locked away in a cage at the high kill San Bernardino City Animal Shelter; he will only be available for adoption on Tuesday. Little Butte was rescued as a stray. He had been micro chipped and held for ten days, but his family never showed up.

The shelter is closed for the weekend, and Little Butte has only one day to find a home.

Now he softly cries out for attention, and he doesn't understand the danger that awaits him.

Sadly, volunteers state the very "friendly and laid back" dog has become depressed and just lies around moping hardly acknowledging anyone coming by; not a good way to attract a future human companion.
