Susan Boyle is only one of many superstars who recently took part in "Everybody Hurts," a cover of the R.E.M. classic, as a part of a charity initiative for Haiti. The official song has found its way on the internet, and now all of us have an opportunity to listen.

Among the performers in the song include Boyle, Mariah Carey, former "X Factor" winner Leona Lewis, Rod Stewart, and Jon Bon Jovi. The song was put together by "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell, who certainly has a knack for getting big-name music starts to lend a helping hand.

Here in the States, a chorus of stars including Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber recently recorded an updated version of "We Are the World" for earthquake victims. That song has yet to be released to the public.

You can listen to the new version of "Everybody Hurts" featuring Susan Boyle below, but I implore you to head over to Amazon and pre-order the track. The proceeds are urgently needed to help those suffering.
