On Jan. 8 a previously unreleased Jimi Hendrix song entitled "Somewhere" debuted on Rolling Stone's website. The new recording is featured on the upcoming posthumous compilation album, "People, Hell & Angels". You can listen to Jimi Hendrix's previously unreleased song "Somewhere" here.
The "People, Hell & Angels" compilation album features twelve previously unreleased recordings by the late Jimi Hendrix. All of the songs featured on the album are tracks Hendrix was working on for his fourth studio album. He passed away in 1970 at the age of 28 before he could complete a follow-up to his 1968 release, "Electric Ladyland".
The posthumous compilation album will be available to purchase beginning March 5 via Legacy Recordings. It is being released on CD, LP and will be made available to purchase as a digital download.
