Pitbull and Ke$ha toured together this past summer which inspired them to work on a song. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Pitbull said he had to have "Timber" after hearing EDM songs like Avicii's country-flavored "Wake Me Up."
"Timber" is another electro-pop track from "Pitbull," but this time some harmonica gives it a bluesy feel. The Dr. Luke and Cirkut-produced tune features fellow party girl Ke$ha who sings the chorus. "It's going down / I'm yelling timber / You better move," she demands on the new single. The combined star power on "Timber" makes it a guaranteed hit. Plus, giving people a reason to shout the lumberjack phrase "Timber" on the dance floor makes the collaboration that much more memorable.
Pitbull and Ke$ha's "Timber" single should be released to iTunes on Tuesday.
