Mexican pop singer Dulce María released her new single entitled "Lágrimas" ("Tears") on Monday night. She teamed up with banda music artist Julión Álvarez on the first single from her upcoming album.
"Lágrimas" is the first single from Dulce's new album, which follows her 2011 EP, "Extranjera Segunda Parte." The ex-RBD member worked with Álvarez on the Spanish pop ballad. The singers trade verses about having a complicated romance that leads them to tears. Some light piano opens the track before the accordion kicks in and makes the duet something special. Dulce's sweet vocals are a nice contrast to the pain conveyed in Álvarez's performance. Two different artists and genres come together on "Lágrimas" to deliver a very charming and endearing song.
Dulce María's new album is due for release later this year. She will next star in the telenovela "Mentir Para Vivir" ("Lie So You Can Live") on Univision. The show will premiere on October 7.
