Are producers of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" having trouble finding replacements for Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud? Possibly. As reported by All About The Real Housewives on Wednesday, May 28, one of the show's biggest stars, Lisa Vanderpump has revealed that filming for the show's fifth season has been delayed.

In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, Lisa revealed that she's currently busy filming her spin-off "Vanderpump Rules." She mentioned that filming for the new season of "Real Housewives" should have started already but that nothing has happened. The interview also revealed that Lisa has been asked back for another run as a housewife.

While Lisa has coyly said in other interviews that she's not sure whether she would return for another season considering the harsh and unfair treatment that she felt she received from the other housewives, especially from Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Foster and Kyle Richards, last season, Lisa's interview with The Huffington Post suggests that Lisa will indeed be returning and is just waiting for producers to tell her when filming will start.

The delay in filming may be because producers are having trouble finalizing the cast. It was reported back in February 2014 that newcomers Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud are both on the chopping block because producers don't think that they fit in with the rest of the cast or have compelling enough story lines. Both women have admitted to their fans via social media that their fate on the hit show is unknown.

Carlton recently revealed that she has yet to be asked back. When a fan asked her a few days ago if she'll return to the show if asked, she replied that she would.

As for Joyce, it seems that she's fine with moving on. She recently tweeted that she's shooting a new show, which fans will get to see very soon. When a fan replied that she's excited for Joyce's new show and that she's above the drama and cattiness of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Joyce thanked her.

Unfortunately for Lisa Vanderpump, who has made known that the only women she felt were truly supportive of her last season were Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud, it seems that her allies won't be coming back for season five. Us Weekly reported on Wednesday, May 28 that both Carlton and Joyce have been fired from the show.
