Lisa Vanderpump had a falling out at some point on season four of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but before that happened, they were friends, close friends. However, as the season has progressed, they seem to be drifting apart. Even so, Lisa has defended Brandi on multiple occasions, despite how "indefensible," as she claimed in last week's blog, her actions have been.

In this week's blog, Lisa is explaining why she stuck by Brandi for so long -- and revealing that at the end of the day, she'd do it all over again because that's the kind of friend she is.

"Firstly I hear all of you. I tried on many occasions to say enough was enough, but I am sorry if a friend, somebody you really care about, is obviously screwing up I don't need to jump on that bandwagon and publicly scold her," Lisa wrote in her Jan. 7 Bravo blog. "Yes, it was getting tedious. It's getting even more so to watch now, and I can imagine how all of you feel, watching the situation rapidly deteriorate."

On the show, Brandi has put her foot in her mouth on more than one occasion, but despite that, Lisa opted to stick by her, choosing to simply talk to her privately about how she was behaving in hopes at getting through to her.

"She on occasion had been drinking too much," Lisa explained, "Had I talked to her about it? Of course. She was sick of hearing it."

At the end of the day, Brandi is an adult and is going to act however she wants, so all Lisa could do was lend her opinion. When Brandi didn't take Lisa's advice, Lisa was pretty much out of options and couldn't do much other than sit back and let Brandi be Brandi.

"It seems strange to me now as many of you have seen, the negativity that has been in the press from someone who we defended to the point of compromising our integrity," Lisa continued. "I would say lesson learned however, I am an incredibly loyal person and would probably make the same mistake again."
