While it has not been officially confirmed by Bravo, Andy Cohen or any of the returning "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast members, it certainly does seems that actress Lisa Rinna has joined the show. As reported by All About The Real Housewives on Wednesday, July 16, Lisa recently had a birthday party and two Beverly Hills housewives joined in on the festivities.
In celebration of turning 51, Lisa threw a birthday bash at none other than Lisa Vanderpump's business PUMP Lounge. Not surprisingly, given the venue, Lisa was at the party. Lisa's co-star Kyle Richards and her husband Mauricio Umansky also attended. Paparazzi photos show that a camera crew filmed the party.
On Thursday, July 17, Wetpaint Entertainment reported that Lisa will be making $450,000 for being on season five. With a salary like that, it's likely that she has signed on as a full-time housewife, rather than as a part-time "friend of the housewives." Lisa's pay for her first season as a housewife is the same as that of Kim Richards, who has been with the show since season one. It also isn't that much different from the pay of Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards and Yolanda Foster, who are all making $500,000 for the season.
With such a high starting pay rate, the show's producers are clearly banking that Lisa will draw in viewers and keep them glued to the show. Lisa is best known for starring in "Days of Our Lives" and "Melrose Place." She has quite a bit of experience with reality TV as well, having competed on "Dancing with the Stars" and "Celebrity Apprentice."
While Lisa Rinna has yet to confirm or deny her participation on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," she has provided a hint that viewers will indeed see her battling it out with some housewives. In early July, just hours after the news broke that she was joining the show, Lisa posted a message stating if thrown to the wolves, she'll return leading the pack.
