Lisa Vanderpump is facing health code violations at her Villa Blanca restaurant. Wetpaint reports on March 17 that the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star has five problems discovered by inspectors at her Beverly Hills restaurant. Vanderpump shares that the issues are fixed and have not affected the business.
Vanderpump’s Villa Blanca restaurant still maintains an A rating, but it has fallen slightly compared to last year. In addition to improper hand washing areas, an inspection found animals, rodents, insects and other creatures. Furthermore, the Health Department noticed problems with holding temperatures, utensils and the cleanliness of the restaurant.
After the inspection, Vanderpump had to close the restaurant for several days, but it reopened without any problems. She claims the issues are old and have been fixed, so fans should not be afraid to visit Villa Blanca. However, this is not the first time that problems have been found inside the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s restaurant. Previously, a visitor found cardboard in the salad. Vanderpump insists on Twitter that the problems at Villa Blanca are nothing to worry about and blames a ventilation issue.
The Health Department and the inspection are not stopping Vanderpump from opening a new restaurant with her husband. Construction is already in progress, and she has promised P.U.M.P. will be a gay bar and restaurant in West Hollywood that will differ from her other two eateries.
