When Lisa Vanderpump revealed that Scheana Marie was working for her despite having an affair with one of Lisa’s best friends’ husband, some fans of the show wondered why she wouldn’t fire Scheana to show Brandi that she truly cares about her well-being. Now, according to a new Bravo blog released on Jan. 15, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump is explaining why she decided to keep Scheana around and why she is now part of SUR restaurant, and essentially “Vanderpump Rules.”
“Many have questioned my judgement in continuing to employ Scheana, but understand this, she had been working at Villa Blanca for almost four years and often picking up shifts in Sur. She had always been a reliable and good waitress. I had only been friends with Brandi a few months, or so at that time,” “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump explains. Although Brandi Glanville was a part of the show during the second season, the two women didn’t become good friends until well into the second season and while the women were on hiatus.
In addition, Lisa reveals that she was also legally bound to Scheana. “One: legally I could not terminate her employment. And two: morally I wouldn't. It was a personal situation that until now, had been none of my business,” she reveals. “I do believe that often the thought and the unknown is always more intimidating.
