Phoenicians, open your arms to welcome the Lisa Sette Gallery to its new home in midtown Phoenix. After twenty-eight years operating out of a gallery in Scottsdale, the Lisa Sette Gallery will be moving this summer to an Al Beadle building near Second Street and Thomas Road.

The Lisa Sette Gallery has an established reputation as a highly exclusive gallery, only representing the best talent from around the world. Sette also represents a small but impressive list of local artists including painter Carrie Marill, photographer Mark Klett, and mixed-media artist Angela Ellsworth. The gallery will begin accepting new artist submissions in July, so please visit the website for detailed information.

Domesticated,” an exhibition featuring the work of Carrie Marill will be the last show the gallery will host in its Scottsdale location. The exhibition will open tomorrow night, Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 7:00 – 9:00pm and will run through May 17th. A collection of new work by the painter, “Domesticated” offers an investigation of home and family life, worked out through an exploration of painting methodology and technique.
