"That 70's Show' star Lisa Robin Kelly has died at the age of 43. The troubled actress reportedly died in her sleep on Wednesday night in a California rehab facility according to TMZ reports on Thursday, August 15.
The celebrity news site reveals that after speaking to Lisa Robin Kelly's rep they have learned that Lisa voluntarily checked herself into the rehab facility for treatment for alcohol problems, and stated that she was very determined to get her life turned around.
"She had been fighting demons for a while and finally lost her battle, Kelly's rep stated.
Lisa Robin Kelly, who is best known for role as Eric Foreman's evil sister on "That 70s Show," Laurie Foreman has had a very public battle with alcohol and substance abuse, and was previously reported to have relapsed again recently after engaging in a domestic dispute with her estranged husband Robert Gilliam.
Sources close to Lisa Robin Kelly have revealed that Lisa's husband and Lisa were involved in a domestic incident in may, when Gilliam tracked Kelly down and beat her up after arguing about her paying him some of the residual money from her time on the "That 70s Show" long running comedy.
Gilliam was arrested and convicted of domestic battery in July. He was sentenced to 3 years probation.
Lisa Robin Kelly's new boyfriend took her to the rehab facility in California, where she checked in on Monday, Kelly went in to cardiac arrest on Wednesday night, with attempts to save her failing.
