For months now, tabloid after tabloid has reported on Rinna's addition to the Bravo reality series, but still, the network has remained silent and she continues to play coy.
"Do you know how many years we've had these rumors going around," Rinna asked the host of Access Hollywood during an Aug. 13 interview. Then, she joked, "I am a housewife of Beverly Hills. I live in Beverly Hills."
Even prior to the latest set of rumors, Rinna has been tied to the show. Apparently, Rinna was asked to join the show during season one, but opted to instead star in a series of her own with husband Harry Hamlin. The show, "Harry Loves Lisa," was canceled after just one season.
Because of her connection to Beverly Hills, Rinna knows the majority of the cast. In fact, she's been friends with Lisa Vanderpump for 25 years. She's also close with Kim and Kyle Richards, who've both been with the show since season one.
While Rinna couldn't confirm news of her, or any other housewife's, role, she did say she loves the series. She explained, "I love the franchise. I think it is so much fun."
Although Rinna may be playing coy, Adrienne Maloof is not, and recently confirmed she was returning to the show after a season-long hiatus. She also spoke of Rinna appearing on the show.
"She's lovely … I think she knows what she's getting into," Maloof told Us Weekly. "She has been around [the show] enough to kind of see what it is. She's very close to her family, she loves her children, so at least she's not going to take any nonsense."
