Lisa Rinna's lips have been front and center in her career, so she claims, but they've also caused her pain, she revealed on the “Today Show” Monday, reports the CP on March 18, 2013. Lisa feels that her lips not only launched her career, but those full and pouty lips had a career of their own.
It was 25 years ago when a young Rinna had silicone injected into her lips and while she reports this was a “stupid thing to do,” because they've been “painful,” “hard” and just plain “yucky,” she would do it all over again. It got to the point a few years ago, when her lips became so 'hard' that she had a doctor remove as much as the silicone as possible.
Rinna tells Hoda Kotb on the “Today Show” that she originally had her lips injected with silicone after seeing the movie “Beaches.” She had the lip enhancement done along with her best friend.
Rinna's career includes the role of Billie Reed on “Days of Our Life,” her appearances on “Melrose Place” and her hosting gig on “Soap Talk.” She's been featured in many articles online in the past decade as one of the famous faces who have had some facial enhancement done.
Her lips may be famous, but Rinna said when they got to the point where they were just “gross” as they got hard and didn't feel like natural lips should feel, she took action. She opted to go under the knife to get them as much back to normal as possible. What you see on Lisa today is the result of that last surgery.
