Lisa Rinna rehashed her lip trouble on the “Today Show” with Kathie Lee and Hoda this week, and revealed the reasoning behind her decision to plump her now infamous pout, The Huffington Post reported on Mar. 18.
According to Lisa Rinna, her lip trouble started when she decided to have lip injections at the young age of 24. Since that time, Lisa’s lips have been the topic of conversation, and have become famous in their own right.
"Here's the story: 25 years ago, I had my lips injected with silicone. Stupid thing to do at 24. I saw 'Beaches.' Remember that movie 'Beaches'? I did it with my best girlfriend, so she and I go and we get our lips done. Fine. I have it like that for my whole career, right? So then cut to a couple of years ago, I have a doctor remove as much as they possibly can because it got to the point where they were yucky. You know, they get hard. It's gross. They are now whatever that was after they took out as much of the silicone as they could,” Rinna explained.
Lisa Rinna is used to talking about her lip trouble, and even had the removal of the silicone documented on her former reality show which co-starred her husband, Harry Hamlin, and depicted their life together.
Lisa Rinna has been quick to joke about her lip trouble, but has also revealed it’s been a sore spot with her for years. However, Lisa’s fans think she looks great, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for the “Days of Our Lives” actress.
