Lia Rinna has joined the cast of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" for their next season. The "Days of Our Lives" soap queen has already filmed scenes for her new role on the reality show, according to Yahoo News on July 21.

The 51-year-old actress, with probably the most controversial lips in Hollywood today, celebrated her birthday at Lisa Vanderpump's new restaurant with the cameras rolling. Clips from that party are going to become part of an episode for the newest season of the show.

Her night out at Pump, Vanderpump's eatery in Hollywood, should make for some real interesting "Housewives" scenes, suggests Us Magazine today. Rinna's soap opera days were filled with cut-throat scenes and secrets being spilled between friends, but that was all scripted.

At the end of the day when she was done filming the soap, the person who just flirted with her mate or had started a rumor behind her back was still her friend because it was all a soap opera fantasy. The "Housewives" crew play like a soap in real life.

For 17-years Lisa has been married to actor Harry Hamlin, so she will have her best friend not far from her side as this show films the housewives in the reality of their day to day living. The couple have two children together.

While many fans of Rinna have seen her hold her own on "Days of Our Lives," how will she do when the soap opera-like problems sprout up in real life? Fans of the reality show will soon find out.

Most of Lisa's fans are sure to bet on her being able to hold her own, she's a real sweetheart, but ruffle her fathers and chances are you will see Lisa stand her ground.

Kyle Richards said she is "100% returning" to the next "Housewives" season, which will be season five. This 45-year-old also said her sister Kim Richards will also return. Kyle, who is a fan-favorite on the show, is looking forward to the new season. "I think it is going to be a really good season and I am excited" said Kyle.

With Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia gone after only one season, it will be like a new show starting up again. As far as Brandi Glanville, the woman everyone loves to despise, and Yolanda Foster go, their return is in limbo, nothing has been announced about their return or demise from the show.

So is Lisa Rinna really ready to open her life to this venue? Apparently so because the buzz around town is she's not only signed on, but she already filming for the show.
