Lisa Ling and husband Paul Song have added a baby girl to their family, and her name is Jett Ling Song. The baby is the couple’s first child, a California girl, born in Santa Monica on Friday, March 8, reports Us magazine. The “Our America” host had tried to keep her pregnancy secret until October of last year.
Lisa Ling and Paul Song have been together five years. They shared their pain with the world when Lisa had a miscarriage three years ago, so they chose to keep this coming baby private as many months as possible. “I was trying to keep quiet for a long time, but I'm starting to get to the point where it looks like I have this really big beer belly,” she joked on the air. “I figured I'd better share it publicly.”
Back in January, Lisa Ling announced in an interview: “We're doing a partial green nursery and trying as hard as we can to do as much organic stuff for our nursery as we can.” Not the color green, of course, but the save-the-environment kind of green. It’s easier said than accomplished.
Take diapers, for instance. “I don't know that I'm going to entirely do cloth diapers,” the Lisa Ling confessed. “I'd like to be ambitious about it, but in all honesty I can't say that I will.” Time – and a busy schedule – will tell.
