Lionsgate preparing for 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' DVD special features

There are still several months left before The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters (and some scenes are only now being filmed) -- but Lionsgate is already preparing for the film's home release on DVD and Bluray.

Nelsen Ascencio, who plays Flavius, one of Katniss's stylists, recently filmed his behind-the-scenes interviews for the special features. He shared some photos from the shoot on his official Facebook page.

"Call me dorky, but I was very excited about it," Ascencio wrote in his caption. "Thanks to all the cool fans of the films who said 'hello.' Can't wait to see it myself."

It will likely be a while before Lionsgate reveals details about what to expect on the Catching Fire DVD/Bluray -- but if The Hunger Games is any indication, there will likely be special behind-the-scenes featurettes and hopefully outtakes/deleted scenes. (Fans were disappointed when The Hunger Games DVD did not feature any deleted scenes. Director Gary Ross has said he didn't really cut much from the film, but photos, GIF-sets and short video clips of scenes that clearly didn't make the cut have been circulating the web for some time.)

Meanwhile, the first trailer for Catching Fire will debut next Sunday, April 14th, during the MTV Movie Awards.
