Lionsgate is teaming up with Funtactix to offer fans of The Hunger Games a new interactive social gaming experience. It will also give fans their first glimpse of the official map of Panem -- the world where The Hunger Games takes place.
"The Hunger Games Adventures" will launch on March 23rd, the same day The Hunger Games movie hits theaters. Described as "an adventure-based social game," "The Hunger Games Adventures" will let fans explore the world of Panem, including the Capitol and the various districts, and complete various missions as part of their own storyline.
More exciting than the game itself, many fans may be most looking forward to finally seeing an official map of Panem, and how each district is laid out. Many fans have created their own based on the books by Suzanne Collins -- but the author has never offered fans details about what this futuristic version of the U.S. is really like geographically.
