Gather around fans of “The Hunger Games" because we have some exciting news. Liongates Entertainment’s marketing team has been hard at work. Today, they released their first teaser video for the upcoming film “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.” The video featured President Snow’s Panem address called “Together as One.”

Take a moment to pretend that we are in one of the districts about to watch television. As we sit there, Capitol TV begins. After the Capitol logo, we get this slight feeling of nervousness. We now see President Snow (Donald Sutherland). He begins to talk with his soft voice.

As he speaks to the people of Panem, we see the camera backing away. Next to President Snow is Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). As President Snow finishes his speech, Peeta remained quiet. After watching the trailer, this leaves us asking who is scarier – the one who controls or the one who is controlled?

The one minute and 12 seconds trailer already has nearly 2 million views. We could only expect this number to drastically grow, as we get closer to the release date. Unfortunately, we will have wait a few more months. “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” is set to open in theatres on November 21, 2014.

The marketing team has set up ways to follow along until the big day. To stay up-to-date on the movie via social media, use the hashtags #OnePanem and #Mockingjay. If that still isn’t enough, check out their website at www.thecapitol.pn. Until then, we will just have to starve for more teasers as they are released.
