Former Memphis Grizzlies head coach Lionel Hollins is scheduled to interview for the Los Angeles Lakers vacant head coaching job sometime before the end of the month, like May 28 or 29, according to sources on May 25.
Hollins, who will also interview with the Cleveland Cavaliers, is getting more attention as a candidate following the Memphis Grizzlies firing CEO Jason Levien. Hollins. Dunleavy, 60, built a reputation as one of the league's more innovative tacticians in his career. He has 17-years experience as a head coach, with his last stop being with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2010, and possesses a .461 career winning percentage.
