Lion from the Lake
Not too long ago I informed you of Lion from the Lake's new music video, Homicide. I mentioned how he's kind of new in Nashville and still trying to make it big in his hometown, right? Well, he's certainly doing a good job of trying to make himself known here!
When I say he's hitting the media, I mean just that. He's recently spoken with a radio station, WRFN to be exact, and four of Lion from the Lake's songs will be played on air Sunday's between 1-3 PM for the next four months. This radio station covers Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Chattanooga. But that's not all -- it also covers areas outside of Tennessee! These areas include Louisville, KY, Mobile, AL, New Orleans, LA, Atlanta, GA, Macon, GA, and Albany, GA. Four of the songs to be played on the radio are from the album, The Power Beyond Description.
Also, WRFN will be interviewing Lion from the Lake on Sunday, April 26th. You can tune in to the site, radiofreenashville.org, to hear the live interview, or simply go to 98.9 FM on your radio. The interview will be on the "Hip Hop in the 'Ville" slot hosted by Mr. Trey, which is from 1-3 PM.

If you think that's all that Lion from the Lake has been up to, then you better continue reading. His music video, Homicide, will also be aired on television (and these channels are nationwide!) Below is a list of the channels and times Homicide will air.

Comcast Channel 19 will also be interviewing Lion from the Lake on the show, Hip Hop in the 'Ville, hosted by Rob D. He'll even be featured in the magazine, Hip Hop in the 'Ville, which prints and distributes over 5000 copies. And you may see him in ads in some following publications, too.
Lion from the Lake teamed up with Brotha Lynch Hung again as well and they have another project coming out, called The Gas Station. After four years, Brotha Lynch Hung is releasing this album, which features artists nationwide, including Lion from the Lake on the track The Blood Diner. The track was produced by the Bronx's legendary Phonk Beta.
I'd say Lion from the Lake is definitely trying to get his face seen and his voice heard around here. Wouldn't you agree?
