Director Evan Jackson Leong's feel-good, rags-to-riches tale of Asian American basketball player Jeremy Lin's journey from undrafted, unknown and unwanted bench warmer to NBA starter has received rousing reviews from critics and fans alike following a successful film festival run that included a world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and a screening at the SXSW Film Festival.
