Linkin Park will be rockin’ Joe Louis Arena this coming Tuesday, January 25. They will be joined by the Australian drum and bass outfit Pendulum.
Linkin Park began their ascension in the music world in 2000 with the release of their album Hybrid Theory. Their best known hits from the album are “Crawling” and “One Step Closer.” This fiery group of musicians has crafted their music into a fine mesh of static-electric rock and nu-metal that has been forged with a bit of rap flavor. Frontman Chester Bennington has a unique voice that brings some wild vocal stylings to the listening experience. Over the years Linkin Park has built a steady growing fanbase with their intrinsic sound. Their newest release A Thousand Suns is another chapter for the books. With each new release Linkin Park seems to grow and evolve, reaching out into the ether and finding new bursts of magnetism and inspiration to wrap within their intense layers of music. The members that will pull you into their musical core are Chester Bennington on vocals, Brad Delson on lead guitar, Mike Shinoda on lead guitar, David “Phoenix” Farrell on bass and keys, Rob Bourdon on the drums and Joe Hahn on turntables and keys.
