Line Up Free peaks as number two iPhone app

Line Up FREE is an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that just peaked at number two on the top free downloads list on iTunes.  It made it all the way to number two but has failed to overtake the Photoshop app even though it is definitely a better app that is a lot more fun.

Line Up FREE is a Tetris like app where you have to find groups of three blocks of the same color and tap them.  This eliminates them.  There is a constant flow of blocks upward and when a block reaches the top of the screen the game is over.  It is a lot fun and very simple because the touch controls are sharp and outstanding.

Line Up FREE looks and sounds good.  The blocks are colorful and there are nice sound effects that add to the pleasure of the game’s experience.

All in all, Line Up FREE is a great free app, which is rare nowadays.  If the app were not free, it would still be a great download.  There is a paid version of the app, but I don’t think it gives you that much more than the free version so it’s not worth a download.  The free version of Line Up is just a great game that’s a ton of fun.  I highly recommend Line Up FREE to all iPhone users.
