Vail champion skier Lindsey Vonn bruised a bone in her left arm after a crash on the opening run of the World Cup slalom in Lienz, Austria this weekend. Reports says she suffered no broken bones and only a tiny stress fracture that has lead to massive swelling - nothing that will likely impact her Vancouver Winter Olympic run.
Vonn is a two-time World Cup champion - although this injury will certainly derail her from competing in the World Cup. However, fans will see the 25-year-old talent soon as she is considered a medal contender in all five Alpine events during the Winter Olympics including the downhill, super-G, slalom, GS and super combined.
