Lindsay Lohan wants Charlie Sheen to “please shut up” and stop talking about her life to the media, according to TMZ on Monday, March 4, 2013. While Lindsay appreciates the big chunk of money Charlie gave her to get her out of tax problems, she doesn’t want him as a mentor.
Apparently Lohan doesn’t buy the “it takes one to know one” theory that seems to be Sheen’s motto when offering up his mentorship. While it appears she’ll take his money without any problem, she doesn’t want his advice. It could be the money was something easy to obtain, but if she did what Charlie is proposing, she’d actually have to do some hard work to get herself back on the straight and narrow.
Lindsay knows her life is out of control and she’s supposedly working with a therapist to fix that. While that sounds wonderful, are the nightclubs really the locations she needs to go to fix what’s wrong in her life? She seems to be frequenting the bars more than ever these days and unless her therapist is someone who has a weird strategy set-up for Lohan, it’s doubtful these are the right places to work on her problems.
Lindsay may need to really hit bottom before she does the work entailed to clean her act up. While Charlie might not have been the best man for the job of rehabilitating Lindsay, he is one whose been there and understands how enticing getting drunk and drugged up can be. AA has alcoholics helping alcoholics and many of the best drug rehabs are staffed by recovering addicts, so there’s something to be said for getting help from someone who has been there before you.
