Lindsay Lohan vs Rockstar Games?

See also

According to reports Lindsay Lohan is livid with the makers of Grand Theft Auto V. She is accusing Rockstar of using her image without permission and would like to be paid for it. Which character does Lindsay believe to be modeled after her? None other than the sexy bikini clad vixen holding a cellphone on the cover.

It is no secret that the character is actually model, Shelby Welinder, who has already been compensated. However, it seems that Lohan believes she was the inspiration.

The game also features paparazzi missions where you have to snap celebs in compromising situations. One of the locales this mission will take you is a replica of the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood. This happens to be a spot frequented by the star, adding to her speculation that it is indeed her.

No one who has actually played this game believed Lindsay Lohan was a factor at all. It may not have occurred to her that she's a stereotype. She's what people imagine when they think of Hollywood, beautiful, big breasted, blondes with bad tans and too much time and money on their hands.

No idea if the paperwork has been filed but Lohan has called her lawyers to rectify the situation. Will Rockstar and Take-Two have to pay big for use of this image? We may soon find out.
