Lindsay Lohan uses drugs because of her mom, Dina Lohan, according to a report published by Hollywood Life on Jan. 4.
Father of the star, Michael Lohan, told Hollywood Life that the reason why his daughter's career has fallen so low and why her life is in shambles is because of her own mother. He says that Dina pushed Lindsay to accept partying with Prince Azim in London for $100,000. This was after the star announced that she was not going to go out and party for New Year's Eve.
Michael Lohan says his daughter is Dina's income and wants Lindsay to get a restraining order against her mother. He says that Dina Lohan is the worst influence on the "Liz & Dick" star and that she parties with Lindsay, even though the young starlet is trying to stay sober.
He also says that Dina Lohan is using her daughter for money.
Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 15 for the charge of lying to police after her car crashed into a big rig. She could be facing jail time because a guilty verdict would mean she violated her probation.
When asked if his daughter was still using drugs and alcohol, Michael Lohan said,
“Oh come on, of course she is! You just can’t stop drinking and using that much without going to rehab and detoxing. Her life and career are spiraling out of control. It’s the lowest point it’s been. She’s gotta go to rehab and resolve the differences and Dina has to come on board and stop using the kids.”
