Lindsay Lohan's latest attempt to secure a "Get out of Jail Free" card, may include striking a plea bargain with the Santa Monica City Attorney for lying to police after she wrecked a Porsche in June 2012. A Feb. 27 TMZ story highlights that the city attorney may allow Lindsay to avoid jail if she agrees to spend time – 60 days to be exact – in residential rehab.
According to the reported potential agreement, the perpetually struggling actress must also agree to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and perform an unstated amount of community service. Of course, Lilo will be granted the extreme courtesy of performing this community service in either New York or California as long as she is closely supervised. Since that worked out so well for Chris Brown, it is easy to see how the state could feel comfortable trusting Lohan via long distance.
While it may be difficult to fathom that the former star could yet again avoid serving time in jail when she lied to police and broke her probation, it seems like that is exactly what could happen later today. Lindsay’s lawyer, Mark Heller, will be meeting with prosecutors today to help determine her fate in regards to the June car crash.
