The Lindsay Lohan trial starts on Monday and the actress still hasn't approved her new lawyer to represent her. According to Radar Online on March 16, Lohan still hasn't approved a new attorney to replace disgraced Mark Heller.
Heller showed up at the original hearing and the judge put the attorney in his place, pointing out numerous points in the argument that proved that Heller was clear on the laws of California. Some of his objections to the case taking place conflicted with California law, so the judge ordered him to find an attorney in California to assist him.
Heller found David Wohl, a criminal attorney, to assist him in the Lindsay Lohan trial. Interestingly, Wohl is a legal analyst for Fox News who works for Wallin & Klarich. Paul Wallin, one of the partners in the firm, said that all that remains was to get Lohan's approval, which had not been received as of Saturday.
In a slightly controversial move, Wohl announced that his firm was hired by Michael Lohan to represent his daughter and that they would be in court to represent her on Monday. Since Lohan and her father have been at odds over the past few years, there is a chance she wouldn't want the attorneys because of that conflict.
Mark Heller originally asked for a delay, but was rejected. It is expected that Wohl will also ask for a delay at the Lindsay Lohan trial, if Lohan accepts him as her attorney. Time is running out on Lohan, who rejected plea deals last week as well.
