Lindsay Lohan is supposed to appear in court on Wednesday, Jan. 30. However, according to a Jan. 29 US Weekly report, Lohan is attempting to call in sick to her court date.
Lohan is due in court to discuss violating her probation and lying to police after a car crash in June. Lindsay claims she has come down with the flu and is simply too sick to make the trip from New York to Los Angeles to appear in court. LiLo even has a doctor’s note saying she is too ill to travel.
Photos have emerged of Lohan looking healthy as she shopped in New York over the weekend. This isn’t the first time Lindsay has used an excuse that sounded bogus, such as a lost passport, to get out of court.
On the other hand, experts, including Dr. Oz, have said this is the worst flu season we’ve seen in years. The virus can come on quickly, so perhaps Lindsay’s immune system was week after all of the shopping she did over the weekend.
