Actress Lindsay Lohan has been ordered by a judge to appear in court on Friday to determine whether she violated the terms of an alcohol education program imposed for a 2007 drunk driving case.

Lohan could do actual jail time if the court finds that she did not live up to the terms of her probation and other court orders having to due with her sentencing.

Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel ordered Lohan to personally attend the hearing on Friday.

The officials who run the alcohol education program have expressed their concern about the actress to the judge.

In August 2007, Lohan was charged with drunk driving, reckless driving and driving under the influence of cocaine. The actress was ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol education program, serve 24 hours in jail and perform 10 days of community service. She was placed on probation for 36 months.
