Lindsay Lohan sticking with 'incompetent' lawyer for upcoming trial

According to TMZ's report Wednesday, Lindsay Lohan declared she will stick it out with her "incompetent" lawyer, Mark Heller, despite Judge James Dabney's scathing remarks about his ability to represent the troubled star. And despite an offer from her estranged father Michael Lohan to get her a better attorney.

For once, Lohan just said "no" to that offer.

Judge Dabney has told Lohan that Heller was so incompetent to practice law that she either has to get another lawyer or she has to come into court and waive her right to a competent California lawyer.

Given that the judge has made it so clear this lawyer has questionable credentials, to say the least, why would Lohan keep him? But then... why would any other lawyer want to pick up the Lohan train wreck, especially with rumors of the big bill still owed to her last lawyer?

But hey, she surely wants him for his abilities, not because no one else will go near her. Um... yeah.

So if Lohan should decide to find another lawyer who would take her case, she only has 12 days with a trial scheduled to begin on March 18th. In case you've lost track, this appearance is for allegations LiLo lied to the po-po.

Even Charlie Sheen has jumped on the "Lindsay needs help" bandwagon, as reported Monday by The Huffington Post, and when Sheen is telling you you need to get it together, you probably ought to listen, girlfriend.
