Lindsay Lohan slams Charlie Sheen's offer to mentor

Lindsay Lohan has rejected Charlie Sheen’s offer to mentor her, according to a TMZ report on March 4.

Sources connected to the “Mean Girls” actress tell the website she appreciates everything Sheen has done for her but she would “never” take him as a mentor. Lohan acknowledges her life is “out of control,” but doesn’t think the principle "It takes one to know one," is the answer.

Sheen told the website he felt the former Disney star needed a mentor and believed that he was the one for the job.

Insiders say the troubled starlet is grateful for the $100k Sheen gave her for back taxes and for supporting her in the film “Scary Movie 5,” but she’s upset that he continues to talk about her in the media.

Meanwhile, Lohan is seemingly taking matters into her own hands. The 26-year-old is reportedly seeing a therapist regularly and feels the sessions are helping.
