Lindsay Lohan is due in court in Los Angeles Monday to begin her trial for allegedly lying to cops last summer following her crash on the PCH in Santa Monica. But now reports are that Lindsay might be skipping out of her required appearance once again, according to TMZ today. According to their sources, Lohan first booked a flight for 6:00 p.m. EST, but then decided to take a later flight with her mother Dina. Whether she’ll actually be on it is said to be anybody’s guess.
Lindsay's travel history is as sketchy as her driving history, her rehab history and her dating history. The “Liz & Dick” actress missed her original flight to Los Angeles last night, so she’s once again cutting it close with her court date pending on Monday.
Lohan must appear in court tomorrow or apparently authorities say a bench warrant will be issued. Sources close to Lindsay claim she had a flight scheduled from N.Y. to L.A. yesterday at 9:00 p.m. EST.
However, Lindsay Lohan skipped it, opting instead to party at a club in New York to see a band called City of the Sun. Lindsay is trying to schedule a flight for later today, but has yet to do so.
Lindsay's past history of missing important flights includes a 2010 missed court date that she blamed on a lost passport. She also missed her flight en route to the White House Correspondents' Dinner last April after saying she, “couldn't get herself together”.
For someone who claims to have no problems with alcohol and substance abuse, the 26 year-old star spends an awful lot of time “partying” in clubs.
Tomorrow’s court hearing is expected to begin at 8:30 a.m. PST. Stay tuned.
